GENERALLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance payments. Your health insurance may provide reimbursement, depending on their out-of-network mental health benefits. We are happy to provide insurance receipts for all therapy services that you receive. Please contact your insurance provider beforehand.
What do you treat?
Mental health struggles often arise during life transitions, including relationships, career, leadership, dating, marriage, divorce, loss, pregnancy and parenting. These transitions can be associated with feelings of stress, depression, anxiety and trauma. If you’re struggling with these, we can help.
Do you work with kids?
We have limited slots reserved for children.
What happens in a consultation session?
During the consultation (first) session, we meet to discuss your needs. You will have a chance to ask any questions that you may have. The consultation is 45 minutes long. If we are not a fit for your specific needs, we will try to help you find the right referral.
Are there any problems that you don’t provide treatment for?
Individuals in a crisis who present as a danger to themselves are not a fit for telehealth treatment at this time. In general, we do not provide emergency mental health services to individuals that need to be seen immediately.
What is the length of the session?
Sessions are 45 minutes. The frequency of sessions is determined based on individual need. Weekly sessions are usually recommended.
